Junior and Senior Project Manager
We are seeking a Junior and Senior Project Manager to help manage both our internal change and large-scale client projects.
Are you a CAFM Engineer looking to take the step up into a Project Manager role with training and development opportunities or a a Senior PM wanting to transition to the Mobile Industry.
You should be able to manage diverse projects ranging from software development to large scale project mobilisations on government contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Scoping, planning and managing a variety of small/ medium and large platform transformation/implementation projects for existing FM client base, often in parallel where appropriate
- Planning and delivering projects within mobilisation Programmes to fixed timelines
- Be accountable in developing and implementing the standard project management products of plans, schedules, budgets, and reports that related to IT, IM and systems base applications
- Supports and drives projects through all phases from definition through development to close
- Supports all aspects of the project through the lifecycle including schedule, budget, resource, quality, risks, issues, change and stakeholders in relation to IT, IM and systems base applications
- Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks, supervises and manages the input of others
- Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of the field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy. Takes accountability for compliance and compliant use of systems and tools in the project team
- Drives awareness of other members of the team in understanding how to apply the systems and tools that are deployed in the project
Key Requirements:
- Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance to SC and NPPV2 level
- Project Management qualification such as; APM – PFQ , PMQ; PMI PMP would be beneficial but for the junior role we wil sponsor
- A Full, Clean Driving Licence
Senior Implementation Consultants
We are seeking IT consultants who have experience in delivering IT Software projects with a heavy emphasis on mobile, web and database skills. You must have the ability to work under pressure, analyse and understand client requirements to help our clients implement our range of Mobile Solutions and take advantage of the vast amount of data they are collecting. You will be involved in bringing our clients data to life and converting data into knowledge through the use of integration and reporting
We are looking for individuals who can show flexibility and a range of experience and will help individuals build roles that suite their personal skills and qualities.
This role is a technical role and will suit anyone with a passion for technology, exposing the candidates to the full software asset lifecycle in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry. An understanding of software development and database concepts is a necessity.
All levels of experience considered.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Analysis and construction of business requirements.
- Provide mapping requirements to our software solutions.
- Provide recommendations for software developments and implementation planning.
- Document business requirements, issues and updated business process flows.
- Generating design of output-based reporting using SQL and Dashboard reporting tools
- Training, supporting and advising customers on mobile applications and processes
- Ensuring all tasks and key milestones are delivered on client projects.
- Review and evaluate technical design and technical quality issues and processes.
- Coordinate and collaborate on workflow processes and Testing plans
Qualifications and Education Requirements as a Consultant include:
Graduate calibre and strong academic background is an advantage although not essential. (Preferably in an IT or Business Systems related subject)
Essential Skills
- Have a track record of delivering multiple small/medium projects simultaneously, and single large projects from initiation to closure
- Proficient in database concepts – preferably MS SQL Server and TSQL
- Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance to SC and NPPV2 level
- Good written, oral, comprehension and presentational skills to enable effective communication with customers and management in any format or forum
- Proven ability to influence others and explain how systems work, especially non-IT literate audiences
- A Full, Clean Driving License
Desirable skills:
- Project Management qualification such as: APM – PFQ , PMQ; PMI PMP
- AGILE Kanban/SCRUM
- Software Training Experience
- Knowledge of the Engineering Maintenance, Construction or Facilities market
- Experience of Application Support or Software Implementation
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycles – particularly Agile and Prototype approaches
- Understanding of XML and RESTful API architectures
- Experience of delivering in a secure environment (Official-Sensitive or higher)
Graduate Software Consultants
You will be supporting and advising clients on the best use of their Mobile Working Software, working in the Facilities Management Industry, managing small to medium scale mobilisations across a variety of sectors from Healthcare to Construction. This role is a technical role and will suit anyone with a passion for technology. The candidates will be exposed to the full software asset lifecyle in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry. Therefore, any understanding of software development and database concepts would be a distinct advantage.
You should be passionate about technology, keen to provide excellent client service, and ready to use this mix of skills in your first step onto the career ladder as a Graduate Software Consultant.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Consulting with clients to gather requirements
- Design of output based reporting using SQL and reporting tools
- Managing project activities, budgets and plans
- Training customer on mobile applications and processes
- Preparing system functional specifications
- Managing testing of new and existing functionality to defined scope and standard
Desirable skills:
- 1st or 2nd Line IT Support
- Software Training
- Familiarity of project delivery methodologies such as Prince2
- Knowledge of the Engineering Maintenance, Construction or Facilities market
- Experience of Application Support or Software Implementation
- Proficient in database concepts – preferably MS SQL Server and TSQL
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycles – particularly Agile and Prototype approaches
- Basic Understanding of XML
Junior Developer
Candidates must have excellent research and problem solving skills, and strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, diligent and goal driven self-starter, who has a keen interest in new and cutting-edge Mobile and Web technologies and their application to product development. Combined with a passion for development and a desire to write clean code, candidates must be able to work under minimal supervision.
Essential Skills:
- 6 months+ development experience preferably in ASP.NET/C#
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, accessibility
- A good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and common design patterns
- UX, UI skills
- Reporting applications
- Understanding of full SDLC
- Experience working on Agile projects
